Question #1:What made you want to start the Civil Rights Movement?
Answer:Our people were not treated fairly as the white people.
Question #2:Why didn’t you use violence?
Answer:Using violence would make the situation more violent for our people.
Question #3:Were you and Malcolm X friends?
Answer:We were alright,we would’ve been better if we had the same beliefs.
Question #4:DId you know that your influence would still be around?
Answer:Yes,I was doing for the present and for the future.
Question #5:What did you think of Malcolm X?
Answer:I think his heart was in the right place,but his tactics were not good.
Question #6:How was it like to meet 2 presidents,JFK and LBJ?
Answer:It was an honor to meet these two men who helped us become equals.
Question #7:What did your wife think of the Movement?
Answer:She was with me til the end of everything,even through the hard times she was there.
Question #8:How did you go everyday knowing someone wanted to hurt your family?
Answer:It was something that gave me little sleep,but the fight had to continue for freedom.
Question #9:How does it feel to influence a generation that everyone knows?
Answer:It is a honor unmatchable to anything that I have done.
Question #10:How does it to be worldwide known hero to all different types of people?
Answer:I couldn’t have asked for anything better,I believe people should fight for the right things such as gay rights.
